What makes PL2 different from standard RGBW permanent outdoor lights?

PL2 uses an RGBCW architecture with dedicated 2700K warm-white and 6500K cool-white channels, giving you tunable white from 2700K–6500K in addition to RGB color. It also adds APPECK Life individual-light addressing, up to 4 zones, dual outputs, Bluetooth direct connection and modular light sections.

Can APPECK PL2 be cut?

Yes. PL2 can be cut and customized when needed. Its modular 1-, 6- and 12-light sections are designed to reduce unnecessary field cutting, and any cut/reconnection should use the compatible connection method and restore waterproof protection.

Does PL2 work without Wi-Fi?

PL2 supports Bluetooth direct connection for local control without Wi-Fi. It also supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for connected smart features and works with Alexa and Google Assistant when the required network connection is available.

Which track works with PL2?

PL2 uses the same track family as APPECK C5111 / C5121. For a new installation, choose a PL2 + Track Kit variant directly on this page. For extra or replacement track after purchase, use the compatible 50 ft Track Kit.

How large can a PL2 system be?

PL2 is sold in 100 ft, 200 ft, 300 ft and 400 ft kits. With supported additional power supplies, power injection, SA2 signal amplification and the appropriate branch architecture, PL2 can expand up to 800 ft / 576 LEDs.

What is the difference between TS2 and the SH13.5B Y Splitter?

The SH13.5B Y Splitter — industry-standard X Connector, 3-pin creates two parallel outputs that carry the same control signal. The TS2 T Signal Splitter — 13.5B interface / industry-standard C Connector, 3-pin is for APPECK Life-compatible lights; because each light has an individual ID, the two TS2 branches can be controlled independently.

Do I need the Lights Only kit or the + Track Kit?

Choose Lights Only when you already have a compatible mounting solution and do not need the optional matching track. Choose the + Track Kit variant when you want the compatible track included for a cleaner roofline finish. Always check the selected variant's contents and any needed extension or branching accessories before ordering.

Should I include unlit extension gaps in my 100ft, 200ft, 300ft or 400ft kit length?

200 ft vs 300 ft vs 400 ft: Which C5111 Kit Should You Choose?

Measure the actual roofline sections you want to illuminate rather than estimating from the size of the home.

• 200 ft: good for a larger front elevation, multiple gables, or a partial wrap around the home.
• 300 ft: better for larger rooflines with several illuminated sections.
• 400 ft: intended for the longest C5111 layouts and larger multi-section projects.

Use extension cable for non-lighted gaps and follow the supported branch layout for the selected kit.

Important: C5111 Uses Parallel Branches

The APP may display Actual Point 144. This refers to the maximum number of lights supported by a single circuit, not the total number of lights in the complete C5111 system.

For longer kits, use the included SH13.5B Y Splitter and the required parallel branch layout. This helps maintain power and signal performance across the system.

C5111 supports cutting. After cutting, reconnect using the compatible C5111 method and keep the connection properly waterproofed.
