Sure, the eave lights can be cut and shortened. The product description states these are cuttable and extendable lights that provide a flexible DIY experience.

sets of 100ft light strings cannot be directly connected together with a 72W power adapter. You can purchase the 144W power adapter on and connect them together.

I just love my new Appeck Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro. I bought two sets of them to cover nearly the entire perimeter of my house. because I wanted black instead of white. They are easy to install. They look stunning, and are so well designed! Perfect lighting, as you can change the scene to match whatever holiday is coming up, then schedule that to play automatically daily, turning off at whatever preset time you want.

I was a little hesitant at first, but the moment I received it they really wowed me, they are really beautiful!!!!
First of all the dual lens design is really cool, the instructions are written in detail and include colorful photos to help with use which is very professional, the power supply is FCC and UTL compliant, and according to the quick start guide if more lights are needed to extend the eaves, you can use the included hardware to cut and extend these lights between lights. It's such a relief not to have to climb up a ladder several times a year to install and remove multiple holiday light displays, all in all, a great value for the money.
